2007 Event

On Sunday 23rd of September, 2007, London officially became a 'cycling city' as more than 38,000 cyclicts descended on the city's streets as part of the first London Freewheel - officially the "Hovis London Freewheel".

Dubbed as an 'extraordinary day', the inaugural event stopped traffic along 14km of the capital's roads, turning central London on a gloriously sunny autumn day into a bike friendly mecca for Sunday cyclists.
